I produced a “Life at Gumtree” video, capturing interviews with staff about their experiences working at the company and how they’re supported in their roles. The project showcased the people behind the brand, giving Gumtree an authentic and relatable voice. Alongside the video, I also photographed corporate headshots for the team’s LinkedIn profiles.
The biggest challenge was working within tight time constraints. This was the only day the entire team would be together in the office. With a packed schedule and limited shooting windows, every minute counted. I carefully planned the shoot to maximise efficiency, setting up interview and headshot stations side by side to keep things moving smoothly. By tethering the camera to an iPad, I was able to review shots in real-time with the team, ensuring we captured natural, confident expressions and genuine stories without needing multiple retakes.
Despite the time pressure, we produced a polished, high-quality “Life at Gumtree” video that authentically showcased the people behind the brand. The final piece gave viewers a genuine insight into Gumtree’s company culture and values, helping to strengthen their employer brand. Alongside the video, we captured professional headshots for the entire team. Fresh, consistent portraits that they could proudly use across LinkedIn and company profiles.
