OVERVIEW

Tripleseat commissioned me to produce a testimonial video featuring Rachel Lane, Head of Sales at Gaucho Restaurants, as part of their ongoing client success series. The goal was to capture a high-quality, visually engaging interview that reflected both the sophistication of the Gaucho brand and the professionalism of Tripleseat’s hospitality software. In addition to filming the interview, I designed branded question cards and built a custom lower-thirds animation from scratch to ensure the final video aligned perfectly with Tripleseat’s visual identity.

CHALLENGES & APPROACH

The shoot took place inside Gaucho, a beautifully designed restaurant with elegant interiors and warm, ambient lighting. One of the key challenges was filming in a live environment without disrupting the restaurant’s operations, while still showcasing the character and depth of the space.

 

To achieve this, I carefully selected a location within the restaurant that offered visual depth and complemented the brand’s premium aesthetic. Using a three-light setup, I created flattering, natural-looking lighting that balanced the existing ambience. We also captured detailed B-roll footage of the venue highlighting textures, decor, and service elements to enrich the storytelling and provide cinematic context to the interview.

 

Throughout the edit, I incorporated Tripleseat’s branding elements through custom-designed question cards and motion graphics, ensuring a seamless integration of content and identity.

THE RESULT

The final video successfully combined a polished interview with elegant visuals that showcased both the restaurant’s atmosphere and the strength of Tripleseat’s client relationships. The end result was a premium, on-brand testimonial that Tripleseat now uses across their website and social media channels, as well as in paid advertising campaigns to attract new hospitality partners.
